About the Council

Business Council was established under the auspices of the Russian Chamber for Trade and Commerce in order to support the initiatives of the Russian companies aimed at promoting their goods and services in Malaysia.

The Business Council was established on June 27, 2013, in the Russian Chamber for Trade and Commerce. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, H.E.Liudmila Vorobieva, Vice-President of the Russian Chamber for Trade and Commerce Mr. Georgy Petrov, Vice-President of Marketing and External Relations of JSC «Corporation «Irkut», Mr. Vladimir Sautov and Director of the Asian and Pacific Cooperation Deparrment of the Russian Foreign Ministry Mr. Bakhtier Khakimov.

The aims of the Council also include: promoting exchange of information between the business circles of Russia and Malaysia, promotion of interests of Russian business in Malaysia and Malaysian Business in Russia, organization of joint events, facilitating bilateral trade etc.

The Russian Business Council for Cooperation with Malaysia is a non-profit organization. Membership in the Russian Business Council does not imply any membership or joining fees.
