Iran, EAEU sign free trade agreement — IRNA news agency

It is noted that the agreement is expected to come into force by late September 2023 after the approval by EAEU member-states.
Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) signed a free trade agreement on Thursday, IRNA news agency reports.
"Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO) Alireza Peimanpak signed the agreement on the Iranian side with EAEU Minister of Trade Andrey Slepnev," the news agency informs.
The agreement is expected to come into force by late September 2023 after the approval by EAEU member-states, Peimanpak said at the press conference. Signing of this agreement can promote and accelerate the development of economic and trade relations between Iran and EAEU countries, the official added.
