Far East becoming the largest goods transshipment location in 2022
The press service of the Federal Customs Service reported that the most important task for the customs of the Far East was to ensure their higher and uninterrupted throughput.
The Russian Far East became the largest functioning location for the transshipment of goods and commodities in 2022, press service of the Federal Customs Service told TASS.
"In 2022, the Far East actually became the largest functioning point of transshipment of goods, which resulted in a considerable load on crossing points of the region. In this regard, the primary and the most important task for customs offices of the Far East was provision of their higher and smooth throughput capacity," the press service said.
