World Bank’s possibilities to finance Ukraine almost exhausted — Russian director

"Ukraine’s credit rating has again been downgraded recently - from CCC+ to CCC," Russian executive director Roman Marshavin noted.
The World Bank’s possibilities to finance Kiev have almost been exhausted, Russian executive director Roman Marshavin told TASS in an interview.
Asked about the discussions around the Ukrainian issue in the bank in recent months, he said: "Despite the attempts of several countries to constantly stir up the interest in the issue we still see that many colleagues are tired." "Many are offended by the relentless focus of a wide group of shareholders on the issue, with the population in other regions of the world affected by military conflicts being fully ignored," Marshavin added.
"Moreover, the bank’s possibilities to finance Ukraine have almost been exhausted," he noted, adding that "Ukraine’s credit rating has again been downgraded recently - from CCC+ to CCC, which creates considerable risks for creditors, including the World Bank.".
