Incremental growth of Russian gas reserves reaching 305 bln cubic meters in H1 2023

According to the regulator, fourteen new hydrocarbon fields were booked, including one major gas condensate field in the Caspian Sea area.
The incremental growth of natural gas reserves in Russia under A, B1 and C1 categories totaled 305 bln cubic meters in the first half of 2023, the Federal Agency for Subsurface Use said in its report.
Incremental growth of oil and condensate reserves totaled 43.5 mln metric tons over six months. According to the regulator, fourteen new hydrocarbon fields were booked, including one major gas condensate field in the Caspian Sea area.
Eighty-one deposits of solid mineral resources were booked with the state during the first six months of this year, the Agency said. Gold fields constitute the bulk of them (68). Furthermore, ten deposits of non-metal mineral resources, two non-ferrous metal deposits and one coal deposit were booked.
