Annual inflation in Russia down to 7.52% — Economy Ministry

It is reported that the price hike was 1.94% for fruits and vegetables.
Annual inflation in Russia slowed down from 7.54% a week earlier to 7.52% over the week from November 28 to December 4, the Ministry of Economic Development said in the price situation review.
"Inflation slowed down in the consumer market to 0.12%, and to 7.52% year on year over the week from November 28 to December 4," the ministry said.
"In the food sector, price growth rates decelerated (0.32%) on account of slower increase in foods net of fruits and vegetables (to 0.17%). The price hike was 1.94% for fruits and vegetables. In the non-food sector, prices did not change: the resumed rise in prices for electronics and domestic appliances was leveled up by the price drop for imported cars and gasoline," the ministry added.
