Russia achieves food security indicators in almost all areas

According to data presented by First Deputy Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut at the panel session, agricultural production in Russia has grown by 87% since 2000.
Russia has achieved most of the indicators of the food security doctrine, First Deputy Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut said at the All-Russian Scientific and Educational Agrarian Forum in Stavropol.
"We have achieved almost complete food security. According to the food security doctrine <...> we have very little left, just to catch up [in milk production]. At the same time, if we look at our partnership with Belarus, this is Russia’s main partner in food production, then we have already achieved and overfulfilled food security indicators.," she said at a panel session of the forum held the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
According to data presented by Lut at the panel session, agricultural production in Russia has grown by 87% since 2000. The goal is to increase production growth by another 25% by 2030.
