Putin to take part in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June
Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2019) that will be held on June 6-8, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists.
"This is a forum in which Putin traditionally takes part and traditionally attends a plenary session and other formats on the sidelines of the forum," Peskov said, answering the question on whether the Russian president will take part in the SPIEF this year.
The Kremlin spokesman did not say who will be the SPIEF’s guests this year, highlighting that it will be "a meaningful event in the global forum life."
