New package of countersanctions to comprise drug import substitution measures

Measures to broaden import substitution of pharmaceuticals will be part of a new countersanctions package, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Tuesday in the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament.
"We are working on the next package of countersanctions, where the whole range of decisions to support employment and the business is also provided. Among them are measures to expand import substitution of pharmaceuticals and medical products," Mishustin said. "Everybody understands the significance of that for our people," the Prime Minister said.
