Russia, other GECF members to comply with gas agreements - Lavrov
As for gas supply to the world market, Russia, Algeria and other participants of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum abide by the agreements, Russian Foreign Minister said.
Russia, Algeria and other members of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) adhere to international gas agreements and Moscow hopes to maintain the commitment in the future. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday at a press conference following his visit to Algeria.
"As for gas supply to the world market, we [Russia], Algeria and other participants of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum abide by the agreements. And I am sure that it will continue to be so," Lavrov said when asked how Moscow assesses Algeria’s position on gas exports to the world market.
