Russian Industry Ministry can complement parallel import list with test systems producers
We are working now on expansion of this list, the Ministry’s press service told.
The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade will consider an option of complementing the parallel import list for goods with brands of producers of test systems and chemicals planning to withdraw from the Russian market, the Ministry’s press service told TASS.
The order of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade on approval of the parallel import goods list contains the code "classifying laboratory diagnostic components but not comprising specific brands of producers of test systems and chemicals. We are working now on expansion of this list and will consider the option of complementing it with brands of companies planning to leave the Russian market," the press service said.
Many companies, including producers of reagents, had to refocus their logistical corridors in the current situation, which considerably increased the timeframe for supplies of feedstock and materials, the Ministry noted. The Ministry in cooperation with producers of test systems and chemical companies is analyzing required reagents from the standpoint of competencies available with chemical producers and feasibility of creating such production facilities. In particular, an opportunity of setting up local production of buffer solutions is considered, the Ministry added.
