Russia's trade balance surplus totals $251 bln in nine months, says customs service

It is reported that exports of Russian goods stood at $343.8 bln in January-September 2021, whereas imports equaled $213.5 bln.
Russia's trade balance surplus totaled $251 bln in January-September 2022, First Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service Ruslan Davydov told a press conference on Monday.
"Trade balance surplus totaled $251 bln, with imports equaling $180 bln, while exports amounting to $431 bln," he said.
Meanwhile, the country’s trade balance surplus amounted to $130.3 bln in the same period in 2021, which brings the increase in the reporting period to 93%.
Exports of Russian goods stood at $343.8 bln in January-September 2021, whereas imports equaled $213.5 bln.
