Russian company to supply battery-powered tractors to seven countries — project manager

It is noted that the annual production of more than one hundred equipment units will begin in 2023 with a subsequent increase to four hundred units per year.
Ermak Industries plans to supply its battery-powered mini-tractor to seven foreign countries, project manager of the Tyumen-based producer Ilya Anisimov told TASS.
"Tyumen specialists from Ermak Industries have developed an electric mini-tractor. Representatives from Mexico, Peru, Malaysia, Mongolia, Egypt, Ethiopia and Nigeria have expressed interest in purchasing said product and localizing production. Gas-powered equivalents of such machinery exist but our electric mini-tractor model will help to preserve the environment, is easy to maintain and is noise-free," Anisimov said.
"The annual production of more than one hundred equipment units will begin in 2023 with a subsequent increase to four hundred units per year. Production outputs can be scaled if production localization in foreign countries is successful," the project manager added.
The company has received a big response and seen interest from countries in Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America because the battery can be recharged by renewable energy sources. "It is in the countries of these regions of the world that the company plans to establish a representative office and localize production in order to be able to bring the products to international markets," Anisimov noted.
