G7-Australia joint statement says price cap coalition intends to revise prices to ensure it continues to hit its targets.
The countries comprising the Price Cap Coalition intend to review the maximum price for Russian crude and petroleum products in March, and are also prepared to adjust that as appropriate, the G7 and Australia said in a joint statement released by the US Treasury on Friday.
According to the statement, "The Price Cap Coalition commits to undertake a review of the price cap on crude oil in March to ensure that it continues to meet its twin goals, to further diminish Russian revenues while supporting energy market stability.".
