Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to develop programs for geological exploration of subsoil in the Far East and Siberia.
This point is contained in the list of instructions of the head of state published on the Kremlin website following the results of the Eastern Economic Forum held on September 10-13.
"To the Government of the Russian Federation: to develop programs for the geological study of subsoil in the territories of the Far Eastern and Siberian Federal Districts and to include these programs in the federal project "Geology: Revival of the Legend," the text says.
This order must be completed by April 1, 2024.
Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum, Putin noted that the percentage of subsoil exploration in the Far East on average across the regions is now 35%
