Putin calls Gazprom one of world industry leaders
Gazprom sets itself the most ambitious goals despite all external challenges, develops promising global markets, said Russian President.
Gazprom maintains its leadership position in the global gas industry and is also developing promising markets, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his congratulations on the company’s 31st anniversary.
"Today Gazprom sets itself the most ambitious goals despite all external challenges, develops promising global markets, confirming its reputation as a reliable supplier and its position as one of the world leaders in the gas industry," Putin said.
Gazprom has the world's largest reserves of natural gas accounting for 12% of global and 68% of Russian fuel production. In addition, Gazprom is one of the largest Russian employers, the number of employees of the structure is approaching 0.5 mln.
