Russia close to canceling visas for citizens of Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Malaysia — ministry
Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Myanmar are prior in terms of cancellation of visas, Deputy Economic Development Minister Dmitry Vakhrukov said.
Russia is developing cancellation of visas for citizens of a number of countries, with the process close to completion with Oman, Bahrein, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Myanmar, Deputy Economic Development Minister Dmitry Vakhrukov told TASS.
"We are developing it with many countries. Among the most promising, with which we are the closest to the result, I would mention Middle Eastern, Southeast Asian countries, such as Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Myanmar is not a new our partner but a major one," he said.
Those five countries are prior in terms of cancellation of visas, Deputy Minister said, adding that Russia’s visa-free tourist exchange in groups with China and Iran was also launched last year.
