Russia’s lentil exports up 2.4-fold in 2023 to 297,000 tons
According to the report, in value terms lentil exports surged 2.2-fold in the reporting period compared with 2022 to $215 mln.
Lentil exports from Russia in physical terms climbed 2.4-fold in 2023 compared with 2022 to 297,000 tons, the Agroexport federal center at the Russian Agriculture Ministry reported.
"Last year Russian exporters supplied 297,000 tons of lentils to other countries, a 2.4-fold increase compared with 2022," the report said.
In value terms lentil exports surged 2.2-fold in the reporting period compared with 2022 to $215 mln, according to the report.
Turkey, India and Iran were the main purchasers of Russian lentils in 2023.
