Russians' inflation expectations continue to decline in March

In January, reportedly, population inflation expectations were 12.7%.
Inflation expectations of Russian citizens in March decreased to 11.5% from 11.9% February, the Bank of Russia reported.
Also, according to the data based on the results of the study "Measuring inflation expectations and consumer sentiment based on public surveys" prepared by order of the regulator, annual observed inflation among those who have savings amounted to 13% in March, down from 13.5% in February. Observed inflation among those who do not have savings also decreased to 16.7% in March from 17% in February.
In January, reportedly, population inflation expectations were 12.7%.
The survey was conducted from March 1 to 12 among at least 2,000 respondents over the age of 18 in 105 settlements in 55 regions of Russia.
