Russia’s oil and gas budget revenues up 25.7% in 11M, non-oil and gas revenues gain 25.8%

The volume and trajectory of largest non-oil and gas tax revenues in January-November 2024 demonstrates a notable excess of dynamics factored into the budget law, according to the report.
Russia’s federal budget revenues from the oil and gas sector rose by 25.7% in January-November 2024 year-on-year to 10.3 trillion rubles ($103 bln), while its non-oil and gas budget revenues increased by 25.8% to 22.3 trillion rubles ($223 bln), the Finance Ministry reported on its website.
An increase in oil and gas revenues is largely due to growth of prices for Russian oil, the ministry noted. "Meanwhile, oil and gas revenues were at a level exceeding their base amount, and in accordance with parameters of the social and economic development outlook a stable excess of oil and gas revenues over their base amount is also expected by the end of the year," according to the ministry.
The volume and trajectory of largest non-oil and gas tax revenues in January-November 2024 demonstrates a notable excess of dynamics factored into the budget law, according to the report. "Non-oil and gas revenues of the federal budget amounted to 22.309 trillion rubles, having increased by 25.8% compared with the same period last year," the ministry said.
