Russia's February oil and gas revenues down by 18.4% year-on-year
In January-February, oil and gas revenues decreased by 3.8% to 1.56 trillion rubles ($17.4 bln).
Russian oil and gas revenues declined by 18.4% year-on-year in February 2025 to 771.3 bln rubles ($8.6 bln), the Finance Ministry said.
In February 2024, Russian oil and gas revenues amounted to 945.6 bln rubles ($10.6 bln).
In January-February, oil and gas revenues decreased by 3.8% to 1.56 trillion rubles ($17.4 bln).
Taxes on oil and gas condensate production and exports (the mineral extraction tax, export duty and added income tax) provided the budget with 937.5 bln rubles ($10.5 bln) in February 2025, down 12.6% against a year earlier.
The mineral extraction tax and the export duty on gas gained 6.5% in February 2025 and totaled 161.2 bln rubles ($1.8 bln).
