Expenditures on National Projects in Russia total $10.7 bln as of March 1

The following National Projects take the lead in terms of utilizing expenditures: Human Resources (49.3%), Environmental Welfare (24%), Family (21.2%), and Long And Active Life (20.7%).
Expenditures from the federal budget for the implementation of National Projects in Russia amounted provisionally to 941 bln rubles ($10.7 bln) or 16% from the target as of March 1 of this year, the Finance Ministry reports.
"According to preliminary data, as of March 1, 2025, performance of federal budget expenditures for the implementation of National Projects amounted to 941 bln rubles or 16% of the planned budget allocations," the ministry said.
The following National Projects take the lead in terms of utilizing expenditures: Human Resources (49.3%), Environmental Welfare (24%), Family (21.2%), and Long And Active Life (20.7%)
According to the ministry’s data, performance is 10% or more for Youth and Children (15.3%), International Cooperation and Export (14.4%), Efficient Transport System (11.9%) and Industrial Support of Transport Mobility (10%).
They are followed by Tourism and Hospitality (8.8%), New Nuclear and Power Technologies (3.8%), Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State (2.4%), Unmanned Aerial Systems (1.8%), New Technologies of Health Preservation (1.6%), Efficient and Competitive Economy (1.3%), Technological Support of Food Security (1.3%), and New Materials and Chemistry (0.1%). Performance was equal to zero for Production and Automation Facilities and Development of Space Activity of the Russian Federation by 2030 and for Perspective by 2036, the Ministry informed.
