Russia’s Deputy Energy Minister Roman Marshavin and Qatar’s Ambassador to Moscow Ahmed bin Nasser bin Jassim Al-Thani have discussed cooperation in the energy sector, as well as interaction within the framework of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), the Russian Energy Ministry reported.
"We actively collaborate in the fuel and energy sector with Middle Eastern countries. The fifth meeting of the Russian-Qatari commission on trade, economic and technical cooperation scheduled for 2025 may become a good platform for discussing issues of expansion of energy cooperation between our countries," Marshavin said.
