Share of foreign assets in investors’ portfolios drops to 18% in 2024
"The share of frozen assets is less than 185 because individual securities of companies relocated to Russia are categorized as foreign assets," the Central Bank said.
The share of foreign assets held in portfolios of investors declined in 2024 from 26% to 18%, the Bank of Russia said in its review.
"The share of foreign assets in portfolios was declining steadily over the year owing to the issue of substituting bonds in the first half of the year and redomiciliation of individual issuers. The indicator dropped from 26% to 18% as of the year-end. The share of frozen assets is less than 185 because individual securities of companies relocated to Russia are categorized as foreign assets," the Central Bank said.
