Russian Railways’ loading volumes down 9.4% to 94.6 mln tons in May

Year-to-date loading volumes amounted to 465.2 mln tons, down by 7.3% year-on-year.
Russian Railways’ loading volumes fell by 9.4% in May 2025 year-on-year to 94.6 mln tons, according to a statement released by the state-owned railroad monopoly on its Telegram channel.
"The volume loaded on the network of Russian Railways amounted to 94.6 mln tons in May, which is 9.4% lower than in the same period last year," the statement reads.
Year-to-date loading volumes amounted to 465.2 mln tons, down by 7.3% year-on-year, the holding added.
