Meeting of the delegation of Malaysian corporation MATRADE in the CCI of Russia
On August 26, the Chamber of Commerce and industry of the Russian Federation held a meeting with the delegation of the Malaysian corporation for the development of foreign trade (MATRADE), headed by the Deputy chief Executive officer of MATRADE, En. Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz), who arrived in Moscow on a business mission.
The meeting was attended by senior staff of the chamber of Commerce headed by its Vice-President V. I. Padalko and the leadership of the Business council for cooperation with Malaysia.
During the meeting, they discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, expansion of contacts and exchange of delegations, support for small and medium-sized businesses. The topic of establishing cooperation in the development of bilateral trade in "Halal" goods was raised separately.
The parties agreed to coordinate the preparations for the Eastern economic forum (September 4-6 in Vladivostok), in which the Prime Minister of Malaysia is expected to participate.
Work plans were also touched upon in the light of the upcoming first plenary meeting of the Joint Russian-Malaysian Commission on economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, scheduled to be held in Moscow this autumn.
