Russia’s cutting-edge technologies were presented in MOSTI.
Russian Business Council for Cooperation with Malaysia held a round table meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia to present newest Russian innovative technologies. Malaysian side was represented by MOSTI’s departments and agencies, like Malaysian Standard & Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM), National Institute of Technology Malaysia (NIBM), Malaysian Remote sensing Agency, NANO Malaysia.
Sides has exchanged views on the current situation of the newest technology development in both countries and agreed that Russia and Malaysia have projects and experience to share with each other. Delegation of the Business Council, headed by former Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Malaysia Vladimir Morozov (2000-2005), has presented a wide range of Russia’s newest innovative technologies in photonics and IR technology, Ion plasma technologies, new materials, water management, composites and nano-technologies, raw resources management and environment monitoring, marine underwater robotics. All of the above-mentioned projects are fully developed, patented and ready to be implemented worldwide.
Malaysian side has showed interest in some of the projects, especially in the area of water management and marine robotics. Sides agreed on continuing the dialogue.
