The Central Bank will allocate $2 bln for these needs, according to the spokesperson in the secretariat of First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Andrei Belousov.

Adverse effects for the Russian economy will concentrate in the second quarter of this year, Elvira Nabiullina said.

The president equested Russians "to continue exercising utmost attention to requirements of authorities and recommendations of doctors and specialists, take care of themselves and their nearest and dearest ones".

Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture announced a proposal of introducing from April 1 a quota of 7 mln tonnes for grain exports from Russia.

This is some 1.2% of GDP.

The President stressed it was essential to rule out any attempts to restrict the flows of goods among regions, adding that Russia experienced such incidents in its recent past.

The move won't apply to flights aimed at bringing Russians home.

This pertains to foods, infant food, a broad range of medical items, pharmaceuticals and components for their production.

Since March 20, Russia has also introduced restrictions on flights to the US, the UAE, and the UK.
